The battery indicator on the parent unit illuminates, and the batteries
are charged (attention, this indicator stays lit as long as the adapter
is connected; this indicator does not turn off when the batteries are
full).
Remark: Always insert the batteries, also with use at home. The parent
unit does not function when only the adapter is connected.
The parent unit can be used immediately.
You can see the progress of charging the batteries in the display (de

pending on the setting of the baby monitor (is the parent unit switched on
or off; what is the volume level, does the baby cry a lot), the batteries are
fully charged after 12 to 24 hours).
2.2 BABY-UNIT:
The baby-unit is powered by the supplied
power adaptor.
Only connect the included adapter, with the
following specifications:
Input: 100 - 240 VAC 150 mA;
Output: 6 VDC 450 mA
Connect the power adaptor with the 6 VDC
connection of the parent unit and plug the
power adaptor in a 230 Volt mains socket.
2.3 PLACEMENT TIPS:
•
Do NOT place the baby unit in the bed with the baby, but maintain a
minimal distance of 2 meter between the baby and the baby unit.
•
MAKE SURE THE BABY CANNOT TOUCH THE ADAPTOR CABLE.
•
Do not expose the baby-unit or parent-unit to direct sunlight or humid
areas. This baby intercom is not water-proof, penetrating moisture
can cause damage to the electronics.
2.4 DOOR/WINDOW SENSOR:
The backsides of the sensor as well as the small magnet are removable.
Because of this, you can fix it with double sided or you can screw it.
Example for fixing to a window
The door/window sensor shall be fixed on the moving part of the window
and the magnet unit on the window frame.
