7 TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM:

POSSIBLE CAUSE AND SOLLUTION:

The POWER indica

-

tor and the text [NO 

CONN.] flash.

The communication between parent-unit and 

baby-unit is interrupted. This interruption can be 

caused by external interference, wait for a while 

to see if the connection restores itself. If this 

happens often, the parent-unit and baby-unit 

may be at their maximum range, try to reduce 

the distance between the two devices.

+ Alert beeps from the 

parent unit.

The connection between parent unit and baby 

unit has been disconnected for more than 

30 seconds.

•  check whether the baby-unit is switched on

•  check the power to the baby-unit

•  check the distan

No sound from the 

parent-unit:

The volume is turned off, turn the volume on.

Beep tone from the 

parent-unit:

The volume is set too high, creating feedback.

•  decrease the volume at the parent-unit

•  increase the distance between parent-unit 

and baby-unit

After connecting the 

power adaptor to the 

parent unit, the 2 

indicator lights on the 

parent unit illuminate 

weakly, but the parent 

unit cannot be switched 

on.

No batteries have been inserted into the parent 

unit. It is also not possible to switch on the 

parent unit when the batteries are placed incor

-

rectly, are faulty or do not make (good) contact. 

De power supply for the parent unit is provided 

by the batteries; the adapter only takes care of 

charging the batteries).
