USER TIP
The fan makes a low yet continuous wind sound that can be unde-
sirable in a silent (bed) room.
In such a case we recommend that you turn the insect catcher on
a few hours before going to bed. By the time you are ready for bed,
the insect catcher will have done its job and you can switch it off.
Do not forget to first empty the container of insects before going to
bed.
MAINTENANCE
The BC-17 is on principle maintenance free. Once you have
shaken out the insects, you can additionally clean the container
however with a vacuum cleaner, or wash it by hand. The container
is NOT dishwasher safe.
Using a soft, dry brush you can gently wipe away any dust from the
fan blades. DO NOT CLEAN THE FAN WITH WATER.
The outside of the BC-17 can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Do not
use abrasive or aggressive cleaning agents.
The BC-17 contains no serviceable parts. Always consult with the
manual first with regards to a defect. You can also contact the
