Services 

The services panel provide access to enable Authorisation Over Network and Alcolizer Data 
Management Portal.

 

 

 

7.8.4

 

Authorisation Over Network 

A breath test authorisation over the network can be enabled through the Americium serial 
protocol on a TCP/IP port. The operation of this feature is identical to the protocol operating 
over the serial ports. There is no limit to the number of network clients that can connect 
simultaneously. 

 

Enabled:

 Whether the instrument accepts network connections on the specified 

port. This is disabled by default. 

 

Port:

 The TCP port number. 

 

The Americium serial protocol operates on both serial ports with the following settings: 

 

Protocol version: am-spec-02 

 

Date/Time: local time (not UTC)

Alcolizer Portal 

The Alcolizer Portal enables your device to post logs and status information from the 
instrument to the portal, which is a Cloud service. This portal provides a real-time solution 
with analytical and statistical tools. 
 

 

NOTE 

Please, contact your Alcolizer Technology representative for further information about 
AlcoCONNECT Data Management Portal. This allows you to monitor many remote sites 
from a single dashboard, and remotely monitor compliance of your Breathalyser testing 
assets.
