Launching WAP

By selecting
Setup/Services/WAP
, you can access a menu that
allows you to modify the parameters to launch your browser:
•
“Direct” access:
when you select Services/WAP from the
main screen, your WAP homepage is automatically accessed.
•
“Profile” access:
when you select Services/WAP from the
main screen, the following screen is displayed:
If you choose the GSM transmission mode, you must enter the
following parameters:
• GSM user name (Login)
• Password
• Access number
• Access Type (Digital/Analogue)
• Validate
If you choose the GPRS/GSM transmission mode, you must fill in
both the GPRS parameters and the GSM parameters.

When creating or modifying a profile, you can choose the GPRS (1),
GSM or GPRS/GSM (1) transmission mode.
If you choose the GPRS/GSM transmission mode, the GSM mode is
activated only if the GPRS mode is not available.
To create a new profile, you must enter the following parameters (2):
• Profile name
• Homepage
• IP address
• Security : Normal (port 9201) / Secure (port 9203)
• GPRS/GSM (choice of transmission mode)
• Validate
If you have chosen the GPRS (1) transmission mode, you must enter
the following parameters:
• Authenticat (PAP, CHAP or None)
If you choose PAP or CHAP you must enter
the user name and password
• APN
• Validate
