State
of data channel
The application uses the data
channel to communicate with your
company. Your cell phone must be
connected to the ICS (Instant Communicator
Server). If the connection has been established,
the icon will be green.
If the connection to the ICS is
interrupted, the icon will be orange.
Your handset automatically tries to
reconnect to the server. If the
connection cannot be made again, the
application will use the GSM network to process
calls.

Outgoing calls and call events
In semi-private mode, your set runs in the same
way as in business mode for outgoing calls and
viewing calls. Your outgoing calls are processed
by your company's telephone system. You can
view all calls, such as callback requests,
voicemail, missed calls, etc. See the section
describing how your set runs in business mode for
outgoing calls and call event management.
Incoming calls
You can choose whether to receive business calls
or not by configuring forwarding and dual ringing
in the application settings (see
"Configuring the
application"
).
Semi-private mode is a variant of private mode.
You are notified of business calls such as callback
requests or the existence of voicemail. Your
outgoing calls are processed by your company's

configuration of semi-private mode (see
"Configuring the application"
), you can receive
business calls on your mobile.
Semi-private mode is a specific configuration of
the application in private mode. You can define
exactly how private mode will be managed in the
application's parameters: "full" private mode or
semi-private mode (see My Instant Communicator
configuration). Therefore, when you switch to
private mode, you will either be in private or
semi-private mode, depending on the choice you
made when configuring the application. When
you install the application, it is configured in
private mode by default (and not semi-private
mode).
