1.1.5.3. MIPT Configuration Tool
Configuration cradle:
One MIPT set configuration at a time
One slot per MIPT set type.
MIPT set configuration via Windows-PC (RS-232 serial
interface to PC).
Direct upload or download from/to the MIPT set flash
memory.
Store multiple configurations to support different user
profiles
The cradle has 3 levels of device configuration (global or
individual).
Each level represents a particular configuration file that
can be loaded from or sent to a MIPT set.
System Level
Changes configuration parameters/settings common to all
phones. E.g., WEP/WPA Keys, SSIDs, Subnet Mask, etc.
Group Level
Changes configuration parameters/settings common to a
group of MIPT sets. Ex for MIPT 600: PTT (Push To Talk)
enable/disable or PTT channels.
Phone Level
Changes configuration parameters/settings unique to an
individual telephone. E.g., extension numbers, static IP
addresses, and/or ring tones.
