Fit the brace to the patient‘s leg from behind. Ensure that the pivots of the
brace hinges match the physiological pivots of the knee.

It is possible to adjust the thigh rods to the shape of the patient’s leg by using an
orthopaedic bending iron.
Make sure the hinges are as parallel as possible to one another in order to
ensure wear-free operation of the brace. The lower leg shell was intentionally
designed to be solid without ventilation windows to prevent oedemas.
