Galley and Sink
The galley is equipped with storage and a freshwater sink with
hot and cold faucets. Water is supplied to the sink by a the
freshwater system. When activated by the Water Pressure
breaker in the DC panel, the water system will operate much
like the water system in a home. An automatic pressure sen-
sor keeps the system pressurized. The sink drains overboard
through fittings in the hull. See the Freshwater System chap-
ter for more information on operating the freshwater system.
Daylight and fresh air is provided to this area by the cabin
door and an overhead opening port window. Additional light-
ing is provided by 12-volt lights above the galley.
The sink counter tops are made of fiberglass and gelcoat. There
is a microwave mounted above the galley counter and the AC/
DC refrigerator is mounted below the counter top. Storage
cabinets and drawers are located above and below the sink
and counter top.
Cabinet Door and Drawer Latches
The cabinet doors and drawers in the cabin are secured in the
closed position with special latches that are flush to the door
or drawer when latched. To open, push the knob once and the
knob will pop out 1 inch, releasing the locking mechanism
and providing a means to pull the door or drawer open. To
close, make sure the door is completely closed and push the
knob in. The knob will stay in and the locking mechanism
will be activated.
Microwave Oven
The microwave is supplied as standard equipment. The mi-
crowave operates on AC power and is protected by the micro-
wave breaker in the AC breaker panel. Please refer to the mi-
crowave owner's manual for detailed information on the mi-
crowave oven installed in your boat.
Refrigerator
A dual voltage refrigerator is supplied as standard equipment.
This unit will operate on 120-volt AC or 12-volt DC power.
The refrigerator switches to 12-volt DC automatically when
the AC power is disconnected and the Refrigerator breaker is
activated on the cabin DC panel. When 120-volt AC current is
provided by the Refrigerator circuit breaker on the AC panel,
the refrigerator automatically switches to AC power.
Care should be exercised while operating the refrigerator on
12-volt power without the engine running. It draws a substan-
tial amount of current and can severely drain a battery through
extended use. The refrigerator door has a special latch to se-
cure the door while under way, make sure the door is properly
secured whenever the boat is moving.
Refer to the refrigerator owner’s manual for additional operat-
ing and maintenance instructions.

Air Conditioner
The air conditioning unit is the reverse cycle type and oper-
ates on AC power. The unit is equipped with reverse cycle
heat and can be operated as a cooling or heating unit. It is
protected by the Air Conditioning breaker in the AC breaker
panel.
To operate, make sure the thru-hull valve for the air condi-
tioner raw water supply pump is on. Turn the Air Conditioner
breaker in the AC breaker panel to the “ON” position. The air
conditioning or heat then will be controlled by the electronic
control panel in the cabin. When activated, water should con-
tinuously flow from the overboard drain thru-hull.
The air conditioning system produces heat when it is operated
in the reverse cycle mode. The ability of the unit to produce
