3.4 Output Terminals
The FAIM’s output terminals (TB2) provide the controlled output from the FAIM.
Output DC1 is a power limited output protected by a 1.6A PTC. Output DC2 is a
non-power limited output protected by a 10A fuse.
If the DC1 output PTC is tripped, remove the output load by removing the output
wiring for 30 seconds. This may be accomplished by removing the pluggable
terminal strip.
Caution -
Observe the polarity of the FAIM output terminals with respect to the load
or damage to the load may occur.
3.5 Input Terminals
The FAIM’s input terminals (TB1) provide the control for the DC1 and DC2 outputs.
The input can be selected for fail-safe or fail-secure, as well as for voltage input, dry
contact, or open collector activation.
