Trouble Shooting Guide.

Rotate the loop aerial for best 
reception

Disc not placed correctly

Ensure disc is Label side up. 

Not correct type of material

This player will not play MP3 
discs.

Disc dirty or damaged.

Clean disc with care see page

Use a Laser cleaning disc from 
your local supplier.

Old tape or tape tightly wound

Fast wind tape to loosen 

Poor high frequency response 

Dirty tape heads

Clean tape heads with a “Head
Cleaning” cassette. 

Record button will not press

Pre recorded tape in or tabs 
removed

Place a blank tape and check 
that tabs have not been 
removed

Remote Control

Exhausted batteries

Replace batteries

No operation or intermittent

Objects in path of signal 

Clear optical path to receiver
