Q: 16 Channels? Where? And how do I test it?
A: Our GPS unit supports 16 channels; however we were unable to find any
commercial/shareware/free GPS programs that would support 16 channels. Two of our
supported software provides 12 channels.
Q: Is the GPS receiver compatible with Navigon/Route 66?
A: Yes it is. The GPS unit, is compatible is most GPS software which have Bluetooth
functionality.
Q: Is the GPS unit compatible with Smartphones/Palms?
A: Currently we see no incompatibility with those models; however we have not
provided the software for testing. If you would like to recommend a good GPS test
software for these platforms, please email us at: [email protected]
Q: Although Aktronix claims that the receiver works with Palm OS/Smartphones, how
come there is no test software?
A: We endeavor to search for appropriate software as mentioned above.
Q: Will there be any software updates?
A: We endeavor to provide the best possible service to our customer, past and present,
and as such we will update the support section as best as we can. Revisions of the user
manual might be found in the support area also.
Q: When I connected the receiver to the PC, my Bluetooth asks me for a PASSKEY.
What is the passkey?
A: The receiver does not require a passkey to be connected. In your Bluetooth manager,
there should be an option not to provide a passkey. You should use that.
