Setting up the unit
Two ways of setting up the main units are recommended.

Before connecting the AC cord
The rated voltage of your unit shown on the rear panel is 120 V
AC. Check that the rated voltage matches your local voltage.
IMPORTANT
• Connect the speakers, antennas, and all optional equipment
first. Then connect the AC cord at the end.
• There are no differences between the front speakers. Likewise,
there are no differences between the surround speakers. Both
speakers can be connected as L (left) or R (right).
1 Connect the flat cable of the RX-NAVH90 to the
FD-NH90.
Push the connector in until it clicks.
2 Connect the speaker cords with the SX-NAVH90.
The cords with the white stripes should be connected to the
0
terminals and the other cords to the
9
terminals.
3 Connect the speaker cords with the main unit.

4 Connect the SX-C400 center speaker and SX-
R230 surround speakers.
5 Connect the supplied antennas.
Connect the FM antenna to the FM 75
Ω
terminals and the
AM antenna to the AM LOOP terminals.
6 Connect the AC cord to an AC outlet.
To mount the surround speakers on the wall
Carefully mount the surround speakers so that the speakers are
firmly secured.
