DISC IN switch

Disc insertion is detected at “L”.

12 cm/8 cm disc is detected

8 cm disc is detected when switch No. 2 is “L” and No. 3 is “H”.

(during loading)

12 cm disc is deteded when switch No. 2, 3 is “L”.

Loading end switch

Goes “H” at the chucking completed state.

4. TRAY (Loading Mechanism) Test Mode

When the TUNER/BAND key is pressed while all indicators light in the CD test mode, the display as shown appears.

Pressing the TUNER/BAND key again returns to the CD test mode.

4-1. TRAY Test Mode Operations and Displays

Pressing the FF key rotates the motor (F display) in the loading direction.

Pressing the REW key rotates the motor (R display) in the unloading direction.

4-2. Detection Switch Display

When a disc is inserted and the FF/REW key is pressed, ON/OFF operation of the detection switch can be checked.
