1. How to Start the CD Test Mode
While pressing the ENTER key, connect the AC power plug to the wall outlet.
When the test mode starts up, all indicators light.
2. How to Exit the CD Test Mode
Either press the POWER button or press any button other than CD or disconnect the AC power plug.
* If a disc has not been inserted, the CD test mode does not function.
3. Function Descriptions and Use of the CD Test Mode
*1: If the focus search continues for 10 minutes or longer, the driver IC heats up and the protection circuit starts working.
Because of this, there can be a case that a machine does not work at all. In such a case, turn off the main power once.
After it is cooled down, restart the machine.
*2: If the FF button or the RWD button is kept pressed, the gear can be damaged because the sled motor keeps rotating even
after the optical pickup has reached the innermost circumference or the outermost circumference.
