CHARGING THE
RECHARGEABLE BATTERY
When using the rechargeable battery for
the first time, charge it until the CHARGE
lamp turns off.
1 Insert the rechargeable battery with
the

and

marks correctly aligned.
Charging will not start if the battery is not
inserted first.
2 Charge the rechargeable battery.
Put the main unit onto the charging stand
in the correct direction and connect the
supplied AC adaptor

to the DC 1.2 V jack

to a wall outlet
CHARGE lamp

Charging a fully used rechargeable
battery takes about 5 hours.
When the charging is finished, the
CHARGE lamp turns off.
Note
You cannot start playback with the unit set
on the charging stand. If you do so, “Can’t
PLAY” is displayed.

If the unit remains in use after
