Canceling the beep sound
(Signal sound function)

Beep sounds are heard when you press an
operation button. You can cancel this.
1 While “SETUP?” is on the display,
press MENU/ENTER.
2 While “BEEP?” is on the display, press
MENU/ENTER.
“BEEP ON?” appears.
3 Press

to have “BEEP OFF?”
displayed.
4 Press MENU/ENTER again to confirm
the setting.
To resume the beep sound
Display “BEEP ON?” in step 3.
Limiting the maximum volume level
(Ear guard function)

You can set the volume level from 00 to 20.
When you set the Ear guard function, the
maximum volume will be limited to 12.
1 While “SETUP?” is on the display,
press MENU/ENTER.

to have “EAR GUARD?”
displayed.
3 While “EAR GUARD?” is on the
display, press MENU/ENTER.
“EAR G. OFF?” appears.
4 Press

to have “EAR G. ON?”
displayed.
5 Press MENU/ENTER again to confirm
the setting.
If you attempt to set the volume level to
more than 12, “EAR GUARD!” appears.
