12-5. Low-noise address setting
This setting is required only when the optional outdoor external control adapter is used.
This setting sets 5 bits (5 pins) of low-noise address (demand address).
Refer to the installation manual attached to the external control adaptor for the details of the address setting.
The relationship between the demand address (cool/heat address) of the external control adapter and this low-
noise address is as follows:
Low-noise address is set in the “check mode”. Disconnect the personal computer, and select the check mode.
To select the check mode, refer to “12-2. 1) How to change the current mode to the check mode” on page 55.
Note) Combination Multi type requires this setting for master unit only.
1) How to set the low-noise address
1. Press CODE No. UP or CODE No. DOWN switch and select the check code No. db as follows.
2. Each time you press the INDOOR SELECT switch, the pin number changes as “#1 pin”
