RC3 SILVER REMOTE CONTROL DIP
SWITCH SETTINGS
REMOTE CONTROLLER DIP SWITCHES.
The DIP switches are located above the batteries under the battery door at the back of the remote
control.
1). LEFT DIP SWITCH (When looking at the back)
UP = LCD Remote control for XLM9, 12, &14 RCA with LCD (Standard setting ).
DOWN = Standard RC3 remote control for all other units.
2). RIGHT DIP SWITCH (When looking at the back)
UP = Cooling only units.
DOWN = Heat pump operation.
RESETTING REMOTE CONTROL.
The remote control must be reset after changing DIP switches, replacing the batteries or for any
other reason which is causes the remote control to malfunction, (the remote is dropped, got too hot
etc.).
To reset the control press the “SLEEP” and the “HORIZONTAL SWING (On Right)” buttons
together for 4 seconds, this will clear the display and reset the remote control.
Press Both for 4 Seconds.
