ROOM   AIR   CONDITIONER

SERIES

MAY

Verify that the lateral and upper openings on the
cabinet are free on the outside, without any
obstruction, to assure proper air movement on
the compressor and the condenser; this is of
utmost importance for proper function of the
refrigeration system and to avoid problems that
will otherwise arise with possibility of damaging
the compressor.  For this purpose, walls that
excessively thick should not be left as in Fig. 12,
but should be chamfer outside to allow proper
air movement, as shown in Fig. 13.

IMPORTANT NOTE

(See Fig. 12 and 13).

1. Inside.
2. Outside.
3. Maximum wall thickness (C).
4. Lateral opening.
                 Fig. 13

Remove the 2 screws (4) located  on the sides of
the plastic front (see Fig. 14).
Remove the plastic front, pulling the bottom part
and disengaging the upper part upward (see Fig.15).
Pull on the cabinet chassis, holding the unit at the
bottom (see Fig. 16).

Removal of plastic front:

(Refer Fig. 14, 15, 16)

While removing the cabinet chassis, care should be

metallic parts.
