4.1 Mounting Adaptor Assembly
Prior to installation the Mounting Adaptor must be assembled on the AirSpeed unit, (unless pre-
assembled).
1.
Lie the unit on its side to expose the bottom.
2.
Slide the mounting adaptor onto the inner bracket on the AirSpeed 1050 bottom.
3.
Line up the five (5) holes.
4.
Insert and screw in the five (5) Allen (M6 X 20) screws to tighten, as shown below.

Note:
Using a #5 Allen wrench, tighten to a torque of no more than 5.2 Nm (46.02 in-lbs.) max.
4.2 Mounting
The following images show the assembly of the AirSpeed 1050 B3 onto the pole mounting arm (not
supplied, responsibility of the installer).

The following pictures are for illustration purposes only.
4.2.1 Securing the Unit to the Pole Mounting Arm
To mount the AirSpeed unit to the pole mounting arm (not supplied), perform the following:
1.
Verify that the two (2) upper bolts are loose and that there is enough clearance for the
AirSpeed unit’s upper slots to slide onto the bolts.
2.
Lift the unit and slide the mounting adaptor onto the pole mounting arm bolts.
3.
Hand tighten the bolts to prevent the AirSpeed unit from disengaging. Do

fully tighten
the bolts yet.
