STEP ONE: SELECTING THE BEST LOCATION AND INSTALLATION OF THE INDOOR UNIT

The indoor unit should be installed according to the following guidelines. If it is impossible to meet one or

more of these guidelines it is essential that you call the help line for advice:

.

The air inlet and outlet vent should be free from obstruction to ensure the air can circulate throughout the

entire room.

Select a location where it is easy to route the condensate drain hose.

Do not locate close to sources of heat, steam or flammable gas.

Ensure the chosen location is capable of standing the weight and vibration loads imposed by each unit.

Leave enough space for maintenance; ensure that the height between indoor unit and floor is over 2 meters.

Do not locate in the vicinity of appliances such as TV or HiFi.

Place the unit to allow for easy access to removable air filters for cleaning.

Ensure that the installation of indoor unit meets the following requirements.

Remove the 2 x screws from the base of the unit to remove the mounting bracket from the indoor unit.

Once the position has been selected, please refer to fig 4 for the dimensions for positioning and the drilling of

the fixing holes and the 3.5” hole (for the umbilical line). Mark the Centre of each hole with a pencil.

Once the relevant holes have been marked, continue to drill the holes in the correct positions, as per Fig 4.

Once all holes have been drilled, fix the wall-mounting bracket to the wall securely.
