INTRODUCTION TO A 'QUICK CONNECTOR' SYSTEM
Quick Connector is a system of coupling allowing the connection (or disconnection) of a wall mounted split
air conditioner fluid circuit with no tools or specific equipment. This installation limits the risk of fluid loss or
air inclusion traditionally associated with the installation of a wall mounted air conditioner.
Detailed description: the copper pipe connecting the indoor and the outdoor unit is delivered already
connected to the indoor unit. The pipe is already charged with refrigerant gas. At the other end of the pipe is
attached the male part of the Quick Connector. The female part of the Quick Connector is fixed to the
outdoor unit. The unit is connected when the male and female part of the Quick Connector is fully mated and
refrigerant can flow round the system.
-The Quick Connector facilitates the installation of a wall mounted split air-conditioner but dose not
release the user from the usual precautions related to the installation of such equipment.
-The outdoor and indoor units must be installed as a minimum according to the instructions contained
herein.
