With the water tank set aside, take note of the
small plastic piece locking the cooling inner and
outer chambers into the unit.

Push the small plastic lever on the interlock to
the other side and release the inner chamber.
7.
Lift off the outer and inner chambers and let
them and the interlock soak in the water and
white vinegar solution for 20 minutes. Rinse
them well in clean water.
8.
Fill the heating chamber (the cavity with the
heating element) with undiluted white vinegar
and let it soak for 20 minutes.
9.
Use a cloth dampened with vinegar to wipe the
entire base.
10.
Pour out the solution, then rinse the base with
fresh water and wipe out thoroughly. Wipe com-
ponents dry.
11.
Reinstall the inner chamber. Secure in place
with the interlock by moving the plastic lever
to locked position. Replace the outer chamber
compartment.
12.
Put a little vinegar/water solution on soft, clean
cloth and wipe down the outer surface of the
unit.
13.
Dry the outside surface body with a soft, absor-
bent cloth and reassemble.
Disinfecting unit (Accomplish monthly or more
often, if needed).

Fill the water tank with clean, cool water and add
one teaspoon of household bleach. Let stand
for 20 minutes. Rinse thoroughly until no bleach
smell remains.
2.
Dampen a cloth with the bleach and water
solution and carefully wipe out the base of the
humidifier.
3.
Using a soft cloth, dry all parts of the humidifier
and reassemble.
Storage
1.
Clean the unit as outlined above. Dry the unit
thoroughly.
2.
Store the humidifier in the original package, if
available. Keep this manual with the unit.
3.
Do not store it in an attic or other high-tempera-
ture area, as damage will occur.
