Instrument Failure
Instrument failure may occur through an electrical fault or through exposure to High Intensity Radio
Fields (HIRF).
The aircraft is equipped with an analogue ASI as well as a digital engine management system. The
analogue ASI will not be effected by either an electrical fault or HIRF. If there is a problem with the
digital system the correct procedure is to fly to the nearest safe landing area and investigate the cause
of the malfunction.
