THERMOSTAT INSTRUCTIONS
1. Pressing the ( ) or ( )
Button
will prompt the Heater into High
heat and will allow the thermostat to be set at a desired tem-
perature. The display will show
AUTO
and the word “SET”. The
temperature will be flashing.
2. To adjust
SET
temperature, press the ( ) to increase the desired
temperature and the ( ) to decrease the desired temperature.
3. When the air temperature reaches 2 degrees above the
SET
temperature, the heater will shut off.
4. When the air temperature drops 1 degree below the
SET
temperature, the unit will come back on.
NOTE:
It is normal for the Heater “fan” to run for approximately 15 sec-
onds after the Heater shuts off after reaching the set temperature.
OPERATION
The Heater may be operated by the manual controls located
on the Heater (as shown in
Figure 1
) or by your remote control
(shown in
Figure 2
).
1. Place the Heater on a firm, level surface, after assembling per this
manual.
CAUTION:
Plastic or rubber tabs, like the feet on this unit, may stick
to furniture surfaces and/or hardwood floors. The unit may leave a
residue that could darken, stain or leave permanent blemishes on
the finish of certain furniture surfaces, including wood surfaces,
and/or hardwood floors.
2. Plug the cord set into a 120 volt outlet.
Be sure that the plug fits tightly into outlet.
When plugs fit loosely into receptacles, they may
slip partially or completely out of the receptacle
with only the slight movement of the attached cord.
Receptacles in this condition may overheat and pose
a serious fire hazard; if covered by a curtain or drape,
the fire hazard is even greater.
3. When the Heater is initially plugged in, there will be a ‘beep’ and
the power light will come on indicating that there is power to the
unit. The power light will remain lit until the Heater is unplugged
from the electrical outlet.
4. Turn the Heater ON by pressing the
Power Button
( ).
5. When initially turned on, the Heater will display the current
room temperature in ° Fahrenheit. Press the ( ) and ( ) but-
tons at the same time to change the display to ° Celsius. Press
the same two buttons together again to change the display back
to ° Fahrenheit.
6. The display will reflect the current room temperature (Display
will read
“Room Temp”)
The unit will be in the
HIGH
heat. (1500
Watts)
7. Pressing the ( )
Button
at this point will set the Heater into
LOW
heat.
8. To turn the Heater OFF, press the
Power Button
( ) and unplug
the unit from the electrical outlet.
OSCILLATION FUNCTION
Pressing the
Oscillation Button
( ) will allow the Heater to oscil-
late back and forth. To stop the oscillation, press the
Oscillation
Button
( ) again. When the Heater is in Automatic Temperature
Control, the oscillation function will stop when the set temperature
is reached and resume when the Heater turns back on.
TIMER FUNCTION
The timer function will work in any mode. The timer function allows
you to set the length of operation from 1 hour to 8 hours. Pressing
the
Timer Button
( ) will increase the length of operation by 1 hour
each time the button is pressed. Pressing the
Timer Button
( )
once more after the display reflects 8 hours will reset the Heater
to continuously running. Once the timer has been set, the timer
will count down the hours in 1 hour increments, showing on the
display the remaining operating time. The Heater will turn itself
off when the set time has lapsed. The unit can be turned back on
by pressing the
Power Button
( ).

REMOTE CONTROL
(Figure 2)
All the functions performed with the Remote Control work identi-
cally to the manual controls, except that you are unable to change
from °F to °C with the remote control.
1. Install the two “AAA” batteries supplied.
2. Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard
(carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
3. DO NOT DISPOSE OF BATTERIES IN FIRE. BATTERIES MAY
EXPLODE OR LEAK.

The heater oscillates 45° and features a 6ft. (1.82m) 16/3 grounded
cordset.

3. Assembler la base en entre barrant les
bosses
dans les
trous
des bosses. (Figure 3)
5. Aligner
l'assemblage de la base
avec
l'assemblage de support
de colonne
. Assurez-vous d'aligner
l'encoche de localisation
sur
l'assemblage de support de colonne
avec la
clé
sur
l'assemblage de la base (Figure 5)
. Fixer
l'assemblage de la
base
à
l'assemblage de support de colonne
avec les (4) vis
M5 X 13mm. Tirer délicatement tout excès lâche de
cordon
d'alimentation électrique
et le placer dans la
voie d'accés du
cordon
de
l'assemblage de la base
.

1. Localiser le
cordon d'alimentation électrique
au bas de la
chaufferette. Passer le
cordon d'alimentation électrique
par le
centre de l'assemblage de support de colonne.
2. Fixer
l'assemblage de support de colonne
à la
base du moteur
avec (4) vis M5 X 13 mm. Assurez vous d'aligner la
clé
sur la
base
de moteur
avec
l'encoche de localisation
sur
l'assemblage de
support de colonne.

4. Fixer les moitiés de la base avec (2) vis M4 X 13mm. Passer
le
cordon d'alimentation électrique
par le gros trou dans
l'assemblage de la base
.
REMARQUE: La voie d'accès
du cordon au bas de la base doit être vers l'arriére de la
chaufferette.

Retirez soigneusement la chaufferette de sa boîte et du sac. Pour
faciliter l'assemblage, déposer la chaufferette de sorte que la grille
avant et le panneau de conrôle font face vers le haut.
