WARNING:
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or serious personal
injury, before first use, make certain that all packaging materials have been
removed from the Toaster. Check both Toaster Slots for packing materials.
Note:
Heat up the Toaster the first time with nothing in the Toaster
Slots to allow the heating elements to burn off any dust which may have
accumulated during factory assembly and shipping.
1.
Ensure the Crumb Tray is in place and that the Bread Carriage Lever
is in the “bread up” position.
2.
Set the Toaster on a flat, heat-resistant surface away from the edge
of the counter and at least four to six inches away from the wall or
rear of the counter.
3.
Plug the Power Cord electrical power supply.
4.
Insert one or two slices of bread into the Toaster Slots.
5.
Turn the Light/Dark Selector to the desired position.
Note:
The higher the number the darker the toast will be.
Until familiar with the settings, start with a lower number.
6.
Press the Bread Carriage Lever down until it locks into position.
7.
When the toasting cycle is completed, the toast will pop up.
To interrupt the toasting cycle, press the Cancel Button.
8.
When finished using the Toaster, unplug it from the electrical
power supply.
