Chapter 4 BMC Configuration and Setting 

J2024-01 User's Manual

4.4.5.4 NTP

This page displays the device’s current Date & Time Settings. It can be 

used to configure either Date & Time or NTP (Network Time Protocol) 

server settings for the device.

Date

Specify the current Date for the device.

Time

Specify the current Time for the device.

NTP Server

Specify the NTP Server for the device. Check the ‘Automatically 

synchronize’ option to configure the NTP Server. The NTP Server will 

support the following:

• IP Address (Both IPv4 and IPv6 format).

• FQDN (Fully qualified domain name) format.

note : 
As a year 2038 problem exists, the acceptable date range is from 
01-01-2005 to 01-18-2038.
