1.3 Intended use
∙
The appliance is only suitable for the storage of packaged frozen food products.
∙
Do not operate the appliance above the climate class (ambient temperature and relative air
humidity) specified on the rating plate (see

Chapter 2.2.1).
∙
The operator is responsible for the proper operation of the appliance.
∙
Technical modifications to the appliance are not permitted.
∙
The appliance must only be used when all stipulated safety equipment is available and fully
operational.
∙
Do not use this appliance to store any explosive materials, such as aerosol canisters containing
flammable propellant.
∙
A steam and high-pressure cleaner should not be used for basic cleaning (see
➙
Chapter
10.1).
NOTICE

Material damage
due to improper use.
▶ Operate the appliance in a stable operating location.
▶ Only operate the appliance on the adjustable feet provided.
▶

▶ Inspect the appliance regularly to ensure it is in perfect condition. Any damage must be
repaired immediately.

Property damage
due to improper use.
▶ The ambient temperature must never fall below 16°C (60.8°F).
▶ Check to make sure that the internal temperature is correct before storing products in the
appliance and during operation (see

Chapter 4.1.).
▶ In the event of a power failure, the stored products must be inspected by the operator (tem

perature check).
▶ Regularly inspect the product space for foreign objects. Products that have been stored
improperly must be removed immediately.
▶ Regularly check that the glass doors are closed.

Property damage
in the event of broken glass doors / glass elements.
▶ With a broken glass door, operation of the appliance is no longer possible.
▶
Remove all products from the damaged appliance and transfer them to a functioning appli-
ance with the same product temperature class.
▶ After removing the products, switch off the damaged appliance. (Decommissioning see

1.4 Personnel requirements

Insufficient qualifications. Risk of injury.
▶ Only qualified personnel are permitted to carry out work on the appliance.
▶ Before all work, personnel must have read and understood this operating manual.
Operator:

The operator must ensure that this manual has been read and understood by operating person

nel (training).
∙
The operator must ensure that operating personnel can recognize disruptions in operation
(such as alarms, temperature deviations, etc.) and take the appropriate measures (see

Chapters 9.3 and 10.3).
Operating personnel:
∙
Using this manual as an aid, the operating personnel must be trained by the operator on their
assigned tasks and any possible risks.
∙
Only trained operating personnel are permitted to operate and clean the appliance.
Specialist personnel:

Only qualified, AHT-authorised specialists are permitted to carry out work on the appliance,
