4. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Pre-Charging
The Hybrid Booster must be pre-charged before it can be used to jump start your vehicle. The “Standard Mode” instructions
will guide you on using your current vehicle’s “weak” battery to pre-charge the Hybrid Booster. If your vehicle’s battery is
completely discharged, or does not allow you to pre-charge the Hybrid Booster, see “Override mode”. The Hybrid Booster can
also be pre-charged onboard a 12V vehicle, with the DC cigarette-lighter cable provided.
Standard Mode:
1.
Connect clamps to battery terminals. The Hybrid Booster will turn itself on. Digital display shows voltage
of vehicle’s battery.
2.
Press ON/OFF, the Hybrid Booster will start to recharge. The digital display shows the charging percentage
of internal Ultracapacitors.
3.
When digital display shows
FUL
, and condition indicator is steady green, turn on engine.
