GUIDELINES FOR SAFE OPERATION
Follow the instructions precisely to ensure reliable
and long-term operation of the device.

Any modification of the device is prohibited.
•
Do not expose the thermometer to mechani

cal shock or use if damaged.
•
Do not immerse the device in water or other
liquids.
•
Do not use the device near strong electro-
magnetic sources, such as wireless commu-
nication sources or cellular phones.
•
Do not allow children to play with the ther
-
mometer.
•
Do not expose the thermometer to direct
sunlight, extreme temperatures, moisture or
contamination.
•
The environmental temperature in the apart
-
ment may differ in various rooms. Before
measuring temperature, the user and the
thermometer should stay in the same room
(premises) with constant environmental
conditions for at least 15 minutes.
•
Before starting measurement, please remove
any dirt, hair or sweat from the measuring area.
•
Do not measure temperature during or
immediately after breastfeeding.
•
The user should not take food or drink imme
-
diately before or during temperature meas
-
urement.
•
Do not pocket the thermometer before use as
it can be heated.
•
Every time before starting measurement,
please make sure that the infrared sensor
lens is not contaminated. Clean the measur
-
ing sensor lens if it is contaminated.
