6.3. Protective elements
The device uses two protective elements:
•
Micro switch.
Ensures UV protection during operation when the steriliz-
ing element is used in combination with the sterilization container. Disa-
bles the device when the top cover is opened.
•
Ball switch.
Integrated into the sterilizing element. Ensures UV protec-
tion during operation when the sterilizing element is used separately
from the sterilization container. Disables the device when the sterilizing
element is turned by an angle of more than 90° ± 5°.
