5.2 MACHINE COMPONENTS
The AgriMetal Greens Roller is a self-propelled
machine designed to roll over golf course greens to
keep them even for consistent putting. It is powered
by a small gas engine that turns a hydraulic pump
that provides pressurized oil to drive the rollers. The
operator sits at right angles to the direction of travel
to provide good operating visibility in each direction.
Optional brushes can be mounted on each side of
the frame to sweep the green while it is being rolled.

The steering wheel turns the right roller assembly to
manoeuvre the machine where the operator wants
to go. Foot pedals on each side of the console allow
the operator to select the direction of travel.
A trailer is provided with the roller to provide a con-
venient way to move the machine. Lock straps on
each side of the frame secure the ramps in the UP
position for transporting.
