Blades
Check blades for wear and damage every 25
hours of operation
1. Move blades into the highest position of the
cutting height adjustment. Switch engine off.
2. Switch ignition off and remove the spark
plug connector!
3. Check the blades (1), retaining screws (2),
blade carrier (3) and the blade shaft (4) for
damage. The blade shaft can be turned
manually, so that all blades can be checked.
Wear protective gloves!
4. Replace damaged blades.
The replacement of blades (1) should only
be carried out by a specialist workshop.

is damaged.
Blade replacement
If it is evident that the blades (1) are too worn for
further use, they must be replaced.
Switch off the ignition and remove the
spark plug connector!
Wear protective gloves when working on
the blades, as they may be sharp.
Disassembly / assembly of the blade carrier (3)
is carried out using wrench WAF 37 (A/21).
To remove the blades, unscrew the retaining
screw (2). Mount new blades.
After changing the blade, secure the screws with
screw lock (e.g., Loctite 270).
Always replace blades on a blade carrier
(3) in pairs - left and right simultaneously.
The arrangement of the blades must be as
mounted in the original layout.
Check blade drive V-belt
Make sure that the ignition is switched off. The
V-belt is located beneath the engine mount and
