3 Devices and Operating Elements

Meadow mower

agria 5300

Clutch

The setting of the clutch lever for reverse move-

ment (C/5) must be such that the machine re-

verses safely when the safety lever is released

and the clutch lever is engaged, see page 48.

Wheel drive

Wheel drive
Switched on:

Wheel switching hand lever (C/11) pressed

down - stop pawl (C/10) disengaged.

Switched off:

Wheel switching hand lever (C/11) pulled up and

stop pawl engaged.

With running engine, use the following procedure

to switch the wheel drive:

•

Press the stop pawl (C/6) at the manually

operated clutch lever (C/5)

•

Pull the manually operated clutch lever (C/5)

up to the centre position (neutral), and hold

it there.

•

Disengage the stop pawl (C/10).

•

Move the wheel switching hand lever (C/11)

down.

•

Slowly release the manually operated clutch

lever (C/5) while you are accelerating.

If you cannot shift the wheel drive, engage and

disengage the clutch briefly and repeat the shift-

ing process.
