5. Maintenance
Clutch Hand Lever/
Safety circuit
Check safety circuit for proper function each
time you take up operation and you do main-
tenance work on the machine.

When releasing the lever (A/19) with the
engine running the hoeing tools must
automoatically come to a standstill and the
ratchet must automatically lock into place.
l
When the coupling lever is pressed the
ball clutch must correctly engage and cause
the hoeing tools to turn while the engine is
running.
If a re-adjustment is necessary this is done
using the adjusting screw on the coupling
lever.

Engine Shut-off Switch
Check engine shut-off switch before each op-
eration and each time you do maintenance
work on the machine.
l
The engine-off circuit is brought into oper-
ation by the use of the speed control lever
(A/18). This must be correctly set in order to
be able to shut off the engine in the "Stop"
position.
