Different types of materials have different
torque requirements
Oil on the threads will yield most accurate
torque
Use of an extension socket will lessen
torque
Lower voltage will lessen torque
Worn or oversize sockets will lessen torque

LOOSENING:

If a bolt will not loosen after a reasonable
time, check to make sure there isn't a cotter
pin, locking pin, or other device locking the
bolt or nut. Also ensure that the bolt isn't left-
hand thread! It's a good practice to apply
penetrating oil to rusted fastener before
attempting to loosen.

MAINTENANCE:

Every 50 hours of operation blow compressed air
through the motor while running at no load to clean
out accumulated dust. (If operating in especially
dusty conditions, perform this operation more
often.)

It's best to entrust any maintenance or
inspection to an authorized service agent.

CAUTION : Ensure the power cord is

maintenance or inspection.

CARBON BRUSHES:

The motor uses  carbon  brushes  that wear
with normal use. The motor will not  operate
properly  if  the  brushes become too worn.
Replace the brushes when  they  are  worn

to  1/4  of  their original length.

CARBON BRUSH REPLACEMENT:

Always replace both brushes at the same
time . First, remove relevant screws and
separate two cover halves.Remove brush
holder and remove old brush. Install new
brush in brush holder. Replace brush holder
and refit cover halves together. Refit screws
and tighten evenly.

IMPORTANT:Never allow oil or grease to
contact the brushes.

LUBRICATION

This tool is lubricated at the factory. It should
be regreased after about 30 hours of
operation. Entrust lubrication to a qualified
service representative.

Other repairs and service should be
