G3430-68640 Removable Oven Door Accessory Installation Guide

Install the inlet top cover

1

Place the inlet top cover onto the GC. Be careful to not damage any gas 
lines during installation.

Install all T- 20 Torx screws to secure the cover to the GC.

Reinstall any mounting posts to the top cover.

Complete the installation

If necessary, install any automatic liquid sampler (ALS) devices and 
connect any transfer lines to your GC inlets. Refer to your relevant 
instrument documentation for details.

Turn on the source gases.

Turn on the GC and connect the power cord.

Removing the Door

To remove the door, do the following:

1

Cool the GC oven to ambient temperature.

2

Open the door, then pull the top hinge lever down and tilt the top of 
the door out to release the top pin from the hinge.

Using both hands, carefully lift off the door from the lower oven door 
pin and remove the door from the GC. 

WA R N I N G

To prevent personal injury, take care to adequately support the door using both 
hands or a second person. Failure to properly support the door could cause it to 
fall.
