Small- to medium- sized flat head screw driver

Medium- to large- sized flat head screw driver
•
T- 20 Torx driver
•
Needle nose pliers
Installation Procedure
This procedure explains how to install the G3430- 68640 Removable Oven
Door Accessory on an Agilent 7890 Series Gas Chromatograph (GC).
Prepare the GC

Cool down the detectors, inlets, and oven.

Turn off the GC and disconnect the power cord.

Turn off the source gases.

If necessary, remove any automatic liquid sampler (ALS) devices and
disconnect any transfer lines from your GC inlets. Refer to your
relevant instrument documentation for details.

Remove any mounting posts from the inlet top cover.
WA R N I N G
The GC zones may be hot. Cool the GC before beginning. Wear heat-resistant
gloves when handling hot parts.
Turn off detector and hazardous gases.
C A U T I O N
To prevent damage to the GC columns, remove them from the GC.
