Hardware Requirements

Hardware Requirements

To install the Gateway, you must have the following hardware:

n

One or more of these network-equipped computer systems to act as 

the LAN client system(s):

q 

HP 9000 Series 700 workstation

q 

32-bit personal computer (PC)

n

A local area network (LAN) to which the client system(s) and the 
E2050 LAN/GPIB Gateway can connect via the appropriate LAN 
cables.

n

The E2050 LAN/GPIB Gateway.

n

The power module and standard power cord to provide power to the 

Gateway.

n

Optionally, a separately purchased rack mount kit in which you can 

mount the Gateway.

n

GPIB instrument(s), including the GPIB cable(s) needed to connect 

the Gateway to the instrument(s).
