To connect SMA Cables

To connect SMA Cables

You can connect an SMA cable to the Infiniium oscilloscopes by using 3.5 mm to BNC compatible 
adaptors. Precision adapters are supplied with the 54854A and 54855A. Precision adapters are not 
required for the 54853A.

Attach the two 3.5 mm to BNC compatible adaptors to the ends of an SMA cable.

Push the 3.5 mm to BNC compatible adaptors onto the oscilloscope BNC connectors.

Tighten the thumbscrews until they are snug.
