HYDRAULICS - CHARGING THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
HYDRAULICS
Warning! Be certain the hydraulic system is fully
charged with oil before use. Air in
the hydraulic system can result in
uncontrolled movement of the wings
during raising and lowering
operations
Warning! Lower the machine to the ground, shut
off hydraulic supply and relieve all
hydraulic pressure before
disconnecting hydraulic lines.
This implement is equipped with a rephasing (slave)
hydraulic system. In a slave system, oil from the
master cylinder supplies the first slave cylinder, oil
from the first slave cylinder supplies the second
slave, etc. The volume of oil is such that all cylinders
cycle equally. It is necessary that these cylinders be
located and plumbed properly. Failure to follow the
set-up instructions can result in damage to the unit,
uneven operation of the cylinders or other operating
problems.
All fittings and hoses have JIC-37 degree flare ends
for easy leak free assembly. All cylinders have
3/4"-16 UNF #8 SAE ports.
Do not use any teflon tape or thread sealant on any
JIC fittings or in o-ring port cylinders.
