Harvesting down, lodged crop
– Decrease cutterbar pressure to minimum setting to allow full flexibility of the
cutterbar.
– Pitch cutterbar further forward to allow guards to scoop under crop mat. Use
extreme caution when operating at this pitch on the cutterbar.
– Do not turn the header height adjustment dial to the minimum position to attempt
to achieve a closer cut, as the guards will actually pitch up resulting in a higher cut
height. Target to set the header cut height in the middle of the cutterbar travel
range.
