6.2
Function test
Perform a function test at least once per year.
1. Place a collection receptacle below the test valve.
2. Open the test valve.
- The leak detection fluid must now escape with a volume flow of at least
0.5 litres per minute.
3. Refill the collected leak detection fluid into the Plexiglas cylinder.
6.3
Alarm condition
If the liquid level in the Plexiglas cylinder keeps falling or has reached the bot-
tom visible minimum (bottom of the Plexiglas cylinder), the tank must be
immediately inspected by a specialised company that is approved in compli-
ance with the applicable regulations (for example, German Water Manage-
ment Act).
The operator/owner is responsible for regular visual inspections and for the
proper operating condition of the product.

Operation
The product works as a monitoring device without controls. Leaks in the
interstitial space are indicated by a falling level of the leak detection fluid
visible in the product.
The operation of the product is therefore limited to its regular monitoring:
1. Check the level at the level mark of the product as often as possible, at
least once per month.
