• Connect the appliance only to a properly installed socket outlet. Do not use a
table-type socket outlet or an extension cord.
• The voltage specified on the nameplate of the appliance must match the voltage
of the power outlet.
• Do not operate the appliance via a timer or any other remote switching devices.
• Make sure to route the power cord in such a way that it does not cause anyone to
stumble while the appliance is being used.
• Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces, open flames, and sharp edges.
• Never touch the appliance, the power cord and the power plug with moist or wet
hands.
• Make sure that the power cord is not routed through sinks.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water. To unplug the power cord, always pull
the plug, never pull the cord.
• The power outlet must be near the appliance, so that the plug can be pulled out
easily in an emergency.
• Do not use the appliance in the open.
• Use the appliance only on a stable, dry, heat-resistant and moisture-resistant
surface. Do not place the appliance near heat sources or open flames.
