2. Select for battery test and then press
3. If the tester detected that the battery has surface charge it will prompt you to turn the ignition
key to ON and switch on the headlights to discharge the battery until it has reached to the
next display that shows turn ignition OFF and headlights OFF as display shown below and
then press to continue.

If the battery state of charge (SOC) is below 12V, then it will display as below to remind you
that the battery has low voltage and you wish to continue, just press to proceed.
5. Next it will prompt you to select the types of batteries: SLI battery meant that it tests normal
flooded types like Wet Low Maintenance (Sb/Ca), Wet Standard (Sb/Sb) Batteries.
6. If AGM (Flat/Spiral) is selected, then it will test Wet (MF) Maintenance Free (Ca/Ca),
AGM/Gel Cell VRLA (Ca/Ca) Batteries.

Once the selection has been done, it will proceed to the display as shown below:
8. Before selecting the ratings ‘CCA, SAE, EN, IEC, DIN, CA and JIS #’ from the menu, check
the battery specification value. This value can be checked on the battery labels as some of
the examples shown below:
