Aileron Y-cable:

 one required, 2” minimum length

Adhesive:

Use any type of medium or thick cyano-acrylate adhesive.

Do not use

styrofoam cyano.

Alternately, you may use a low temperature, foam safe hot glue.

Tools:

Scissors, hobby knife, 3/32” & 5/32” diameter drill

INSTALLING THE SERVOS

Set the servos to center from the transmitter, or use a servo tester.  Fit the output arms

on the servos at 90˚ to the case sides.  If using CA glue, wrap adhesive tape around

each servo, or shrink a heat-shrink sleeve around the case.

 This helps prevent adhesive

from entering the servo.

Spray activator on the prepared servo and allow it to air-dry.

Apply thick cyano to the servo recess only where the servo is protected by the tape or

shrink sleeve.  Install the elevator and aileron servos as shown.  Tape servo fairings in

place to cover each aileron servo.

INSTALLING THE MOTOR MOUNT

Align the motor mount straight and true with the back flat surface of the wing.  View

from top, side and rear to confirm the mount is straight and true from each view.   Fix

its position and drill 1/8” pilot through holes using the bracket holes as a template.  Then

remove the bracket and widen the holes with a 5/32” drill through.

Insert the mating retainer from the underside with the

longer stand-offs piercing the

thickest portion of the wing

.   If you wish to route the motor wires through and

underneath the bracket, you must install the motor before screwing the top bracket down.
