ACCESSORIES COMPATIBILITY TABLE
Storage tank
Made of steel with polyurethane foam insulation injected directly onto
the tank and protected by an embossed aluminium jacket.
Pump
A centrifugal pump with stainless steel impellers, with water distribution
to the installation and suction from the storage tank.
The 75 and 150 litre models not only have the secondary circuit pump,
but have also been designed to receive a accelerator for the primary
circuit. The 750 and 1000 litre model has an L, M and Q pumping station
with two pumps mounted in parallel.
Water filter
To filter the pump suction water, retaining any impurities found in the
circuit. The strainer can be extracted for routine cleaning.
Shut-off ball valve
Shuts-off the pump and eventual primary circuit reducing repair times
without draining the installation.
Automatic feeder group
Complete with gauge and shut-off valve, provides automatic filling of the
circuit both during start-up and normal operation.
Safety valve
Set to open at 6 bar and with the facility for discharge into a drain circuit;
the safety valve protects the unit from possible overpressure.
Automatic air vent valve
Located at the top of the tank and isolated by means of a shut-off cock,
the bleed valve serves to vent any air trapped inside the unit.
Drain coupling
A water drain at the lowest point in the tank.
Switch board
Supplied with a main switch, it contains all the components for the
pump command and protection, and the terminal block to hook-up the
machine.
Channel structure
Made of heavy gauge hot galvanized sheet steel, the structure is
finished with an epoxy powder coating to provide optimum resistance
to weathering. The versions include configurations that are perfectly
compatible with various types of Aermec chillers, as can be see from the
“Dimensional Compatibility” table given further ahead in this document.
Expansion tank
A diaphragm tank with nitrogen charge.
Unidirectional valve
Allows water flow in one direction only.
– Hydraulic circuit insulation
Closed cell polyurethane foam is used to both prevent condensate
formations during the production of chilled water and reduce heat losses
during operation with hot water.
SAFETY DEVICES
These devices are designed to guarantee the correct operation of the
unit, and prevent damage to internal components caused by operation in
abnormal working conditions:
– pump circuit breaker;
– safety valve (set at 6 bar);
– main switch.
RX – ELECTRIC HEATER
Armoured resistance controlled by a built-in adjustable thermostat and
located in a dedicated 1 1/4” gas connection; the heating element prevents
freezing of the water in the accumulation tank during the winter months.
VT – ANTIVIBRATION FEET
A kit of four antivibration feet, which are mounted under the unit’s
sheet metal base. They greatly reduce unit vibrations when the pump is
running.
