The
MP2x8i N
MEA Buffer has been designed to distribute NMEA or other RS422 signals from one transmitter up to 8 listeners.
The tr
ansmitted signal is galvanically isolated from
the
power supply and all listeners. The unit can operate with signal speed
u
p
to
230400 bps and power supply range from 9 to 36 VDC.
The MP2x8i has two operating modes: Dual Independent Transmission and Single Input Transmission with auto switching, described
on page 6 and 7. When you are using the Single Input Transmission you are able to connect two independent NMEA transceivers
and distribute the main signal to all listeners.
