Installation of AEM
®
intake system.
a.
When installing the intake system, do not completely tighten the hose clamps or mounting hardware until
instructed to do so.
a. Install the MAF sensor into the AEM intake tube using
the provided hardware.
d. Install the edge trim onto the heat shield as shown.
Install the rubber mount using the provided hardware.
Leave the top nut and washer loose to aid in installation
of the intake tube.
b. Attach the provided hose and hose fitting to the in-
take tube nipple.
c. Install the provided coupler on to the throttle body
using the provided hose clamps. Tighten the throttle
-
body
-
side hose clamp at this time.
